How to Evaluate a Sneaker Spreadsheet

Not all sneaker spreadsheets are created equal. The best ones share common traits: frequent updates, detailed sizing notes, high-resolution QC photos, active community discussion, and transparent editor credentials. When evaluating a new sneaker spreadsheet, run through this checklist before placing any order.

First, check the update frequency. A good sneaker spreadsheet should be updated at least weekly, with dead links removed within days. The sneaker market moves fast — popular styles sell out, prices change, and new drops happen constantly. A spreadsheet that has not been touched in three weeks is likely to have multiple broken links and outdated prices.

Second, look for sizing depth. The best spreadsheets do not just say "size up." They include foot length recommendations, width notes, and comparisons to well-known retail brands. "Fits like Nike Air Force 1" is far more useful than "true to size" because most buyers already know their Nike size.

Third, examine the QC photo standard. Curators who include 4-6 warehouse photos per item — showing front, side, back, sole, insole, and packaging — demonstrate that they actually care about accuracy. Spreadsheets with only one stock photo per item are not doing proper verification.

Finally, consider the editor's track record. Long-running spreadsheets with established editors tend to be more reliable than brand-new ones. Look for editors who have been active in the community for at least six months and have a history of responding to feedback and fixing issues quickly.
